Recent Happenings

  • DSC_0929In April we hiked to Mushroom Rock in Carbondale. We love to explore all that our beautiful mountains have to offer.

    We made a special trip over spring break to Grand Junction to visit the Get Air Silo trampoline center.

    Stepping Stones recently hosted a healthy cooking class, “Cooking Matters” in partnership with Family Resource Center. Teens learned about nutrition, sanitation, and a variety of culinary techniques.

    This February Stepping Stones went skiing at Buttermilk. We had a blast hitting the slopes. Thank you Aspen SkiCo for providing us with such an amazing experience.

    Every Wednesday we take two youth to get a haircut. Thank you Julie from JUL salon for providing our youth with a fresh new look.

    Staff and youth eat a family style dinner every evening Monday – Friday. Stepping Stones feeds a home-made, nutritious meal to 15 – 30 youth daily. Thank you Lift Up for supporting Stepping Stones in our efforts to provide healthy meals to underserved youth.
